In our previous creditor experience, it is the creditor’s discretion to take further action against a customer whilst a complaint is going through until the final decision from the Financial Ombudsman is made. This is also dependant on the nature of the complaint that has been raised. I can’t give a more precise answer without knowing more about your circumstances so I would recommend you go directly to the Financial Ombudsman with this query.
