failed IVA - how long will it stay on my credit rating?

my IVA have failed last month though i m getting my job promotion which mean i can start paying my debts within a year about £30k.. in this case after 1 year does my credit rate will be normal?? reason i am gonna buy a house through mortgage..pls give an proper ans..thnx so much..

The information that you had an IVA will remain on your credit file for 6 years, even if you pay off the debt within 1 year.

If you’d like to discuss your specific circumstances in more detail you can reach us on 0800 019 2095. Please be aware we have limited staff in the office today, but we will be back to normal office hours from 9.00am on Tuesday 3rd January 2012
