Are there any restrictions on public employment with an IVA

Can someone with an iva have a public post such as be a school governor? You can not be a governor if you are subject to bankrupcy restrictions or you are subject to a disqualification order.

There are no restrictions on holding a public office for anyone who is subject to an IVA.
