additional debts after IVA has been approved

I have forgotten to include some debt after my iva had been approved. Can I put these into my iva.

    Hi Carl,

    Many thanks for your question.

    I would advise you to contact your Insolvency Practitioner (“IP”) to discuss the above. If the debt was taken out prior to your IVA being accepted, this should fall under the terms of your IVA – if it is a debt which has accumulated after your IVA was approved, then you are liable to repay this outside your IVA. I would advise you to contact your IP in any event to discuss and arrange to repay in order that no harm is caused to your IVA.
