can I rent furniture whilst in an IVA?
Hi,
Probably a stupid question, but my sofa has broken and I need to replace it.
With being in an IVA, I dont have anywhere near the money to buy one. So would a rental store like Brighthouse break any rules on my IVA?

I would have a chat with your Supervisor and find out whether a payment break (or reduced monthly contributions) to enable you to purchase anotherone.
Renting one should be OK provided you can afford to pay for same within your budget - again have a chat with your Supervisor.Comment -

It would be best to confirm that you can afford it and having a look at your income and expenditure again - The last thing we want is for you to start struggling again
